- Antoni Vicens Vicens, Director General of External Relations of the Balearic Islands Government and CoR member.

The second part of the event was dedicated to an open debate with participants, where several high-level representatives of EU institutions took the floor during the debate session to express their point of view on island-related issues and challenges under EU policies, including:
- Mr Markku Marrkula, CoR’s Vice-President;
- Ms Alicia Homs Ginel, member of the EP Intergroup SEARICA (Spain);
- Ms Josianne Cutajar, member of the EP Intergroup SEARICA (Malta).
